The steel construction method is widely used for hall buildings because a high degree of prefabrication allows short assembly times on the construction site. A wide range of rolled and welded profiles and columns enables wide-span frame structures. Their applications range from warehouses and production halls to multi-storey parking lots, sophisticated exhibition halls, shopping centers and office buildings.

Numerical structural analysis with finite element models
The use of FE-models in special cases of interest, for example if the load for a node connection should be determined in consideration eigenformaffiner imperfections (GMNIA analysis).
