Connection technology

Especially in steel construction there is a multitude of different constructions which have to be joined together by means of a suitable connection. The most common variant are the screw connections, since these can be loosened again without much effort. For example, ring flange connections are used in the area of wind energy plants. In the area of industrial construction, substructures can be welded up to a certain transport size. If the dimensions are exceeded, face plate connections and notches are provided by means of flags. There is a wide range of variations, including stiffened / non-stiffened, tapered connections, claw supports or pre-stressed constructions.
