Static structure analyzes

Bei der Tragwerksplanung bildet die Structural analysis is the most frequently used type of calculation in structural design. This can be used both analytically and with numerical calculation methods . Stationary loads are applied to structures or components in order to calculate the following parameters:

Influence of the ring stiffeners on the deformations in the circumferential direction
Deformations of a double silo
Node connection with diagonal brace
Stresses of a filter housing

In these cases, one speaks of a calculation according to the first-order theory. The system is in a stable equilibrium. According to the second order theory, it is in equilibrium in deformed position (GMNIA). A special feature of static structural analysis is stability problems, whereby the system is in an indifferent or unstable equilibrium. This can lead to a sudden failure of the structure without prior notice. Stability problems occur when the structure or component is subjected to pressure or shear stress. These include primarily:

  • Buckling
  • Bending
  • Torsional flexural buckling
  • Buckling of plates and shells

The SKI Ingenieurges. mbH is a structural engineer and can offer static structural analyses according to first-order theory as well as second-order theory. This essentially comprises the following range of services:

  • All structural analyses as a result of stationary loading with and without prestressing (pressure rods, truss bars)
  • Stability problems of beams and other members
  • Buckling problems of plates and shells
  • Geometric and material non-linear calculation with imperfections (GMNIA)
  • Diaphragm calculation with breakdown problem
