Installation of a 200m³ spent grains silo

In the course of the modernization of a local brewery, a finished spomaceous earth silo was handed over to the end customer and installed. The grape grains silo with a diameter of 4m and a total height of approx. 26m has a capacity of approx. 200m³. The static calculations for the silo, as well as the substructure with anchoring were prepared by SKI Ingenieurges. mbH. After production and delivery, the silo was erected by means of two cranes and lifted to the intended position.

The SKI Ingenieurges. mbH is active in the structural design of silos and silo groups. This field of expertise mainly comprises planning activities in the design phase as well as the examination of assembly conditions.
