Public appointment and swearing-in

On 23 April 2025, the public appointment and swearing-in of Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Wagner as an expert at the Lower Saxony Chamber of Engineers took place in a festive setting. His area of appointment is:

"Supporting structures made of metallic materials for silos"

The public appointment was made by the President of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Engineers, Prof. Dr. Betzler. This makes Mr Wagner one of the few experts in the whole of Germany for this area of appointment.

As well as a large number of written documents, the application process also required proof of special expertise, the ability to prepare expert reports and personal suitability by means of a written and oral examination. Publicly appointed and sworn experts are highly trusted in court and by the public due to their neutrality, reliability and special expertise.
